“Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together,
against the Lord and against His Anointed…”
— Psalm 2:1–2
There’s a storm in the world today—louder than politics, deeper than culture, and older than history. It isn’t just about oil, ideology, or power. It’s about truth. About allegiance. And ultimately, about whether humanity will bow to the Creator or break itself trying to dethrone Him.
The West—especially America—was built, however imperfectly, on the foundation of Hebrew-Christian truth. Not just morality, but reality: that God made the world, that right and wrong exist, that human beings are made in His image, and that peace and justice come from Him, not from us.
We believe in mercy—but also in order.
In peace—but not appeasement.
In justice—but not vengeance.
In truth—especially when it costs us something.
But the world doesn’t want that anymore.
You can feel it—in the headlines, in the streets, in the way power is shifting. The West is being rejected, redefined, and in some places, openly targeted. Iran, China, Russia, and radicalized movements across the globe are not just pushing against borders—they are pushing against a worldview. One shaped by Scripture. One shaped by God.
Even in our own country, that foundation is being chipped away:
- Justice is rebranded as revenge.
- Identity replaces dignity.
- Freedom is twisted into narcissism.
- And God… is often mocked, dismissed, or repackaged.
What does the Bible say?
Psalm 2 warns us clearly: the nations will rage. They will conspire, unite, and plot against God and His Anointed. But God is not shaken.
“He who sits in the heavens laughs… ‘I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill.’”
— Psalm 2:4,6
Isaiah 26:3 promises:
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
Jesus Himself warned in Matthew 24 that wars, rumors of wars, betrayal, hatred, and deception would characterize the end of the age. But He also said:
“See to it that you are not alarmed… the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
We are not promised safety.
We are not promised cultural victory.
But we are promised truth, peace in Christ, and eternal justice.
So what do we do?
We anchor ourselves in God’s Word, not the news cycle.
We raise our children with truth, not trend.
We pray for our nation—not because we idolize it, but because we love its foundation.
And we prepare—not in fear, but in faith—for whatever comes next.
Because no matter how loud the nations rage, God is not moved.
